Share a Culinary Heritage gem
Help other road-trippers bypass corporate fast-food chains on their next drive. We map independent, pitstop-worthy kitchens directly along active travel routes, keeping our open-source cartography community-driven, transparent, and completely free of corporate algorithms.
What makes a pitstop
Independent ownership
Route-side proximity
Honest local food
No national corporate chains or drive-thru franchises are permitted. We only map independent, family-owned diners, roadside smokehouses, and local bakeries that represent authentic regional cooking and honest heritage.
The kitchen must sit within ten minutes of a major highway or state route. This ensures long-distance travelers can easily detour for a real meal without losing valuable driving time on their trip.
Vetted by real travelers for quality, character, and regional flavor. We value scratch-made plates, historic neon signs, and honest local hospitality over commercial convenience and corporate fast-food fatigue.
